Questions we get asked most
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No. You can book with us directly and most people do. Some insurance plans ask for a doctor's referral before they will reimburse you, so it is worth a quick call to your provider before your first visit.
Is physiotherapy covered by insurance?
Usually, through extended health benefits. Most plans cover physiotherapy and massage therapy either partly or in full, though the amount and the number of visits vary a lot between plans. Your provider can confirm exactly what yours covers.
Do you direct bill?
Yes. We direct bill most insurance companies, so in most cases you only pay the portion your plan does not cover.
How long is an appointment?
Initial assessments are 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are 30 minutes and focused on the work at hand. More complex injuries sometimes need longer, and we will tell you if yours does.

What should I wear?
Something comfortable you can move in, that lets us get at the area we are treating. Shorts for a knee or a hip, a loose top for a shoulder. If you come straight from work, we keep shorts and gowns at the clinic.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, absolutely. Bring them.

Do you have evening appointments?
Yes. We are open until 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, so you do not have to take time off work to be seen. We are also open Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
