- Do I need a referral for physiotherapy? You do not need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment with us! Your insurance company may require a referral for billing purposes/coverage of appointment costs, however plans vary, and it is best to check with your individual provider prior to booking your appointment.
- Is physiotherapy covered by my insurance? Physiotherapy is typically covered through extended health benefits.
- Will insurance cover the cost of my treatment? Most health insurance plans have partial or full coverage for physiotherapy and massage therapy treatments. We suggest you check with your health insurance provider to determine if outpatient physiotherapy services are covered under your plan.
- What methods of payment do you accept? Cash, credit and debit are all acceptable payment options at Radius!
- How long are appointments? Initial assessments are booked for 60 minutes, while follow-up sessions are set for a focused 30-minutes. Please note that appointments may extend beyond the designated time, depending on the nature or complexity of the injury.
- What is the cost per appointment? Initial assessments are $100 and follow up appiointments are $85.
- What should I wear to my appointment? Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and allows easy access to the injured area. For example, opting for shorts if the knee is the area that’s injured. However, we have extra shorts and dressing gowns if needed.
- Can I bring my children with me? Absolutely!
