Bobby Russell
Physiotherapist
- Master of Science in Physiotherapy, Dalhousie University
- Degree in Kinesiology
Robert completed a degree in Kinesiology in 2001. After working for several years, first as a Kinesiologist in a busy integrated health clinic, and then as a Fitness & Sports Instructor for the Canadian Forces, Robert decided to return to school to pursue a career in Physiotherapy, completing his Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2014. Since then, he has worked in both private and public practice, working with everyone from those with hip/knee arthritis to the weekend warrior or functional fitness athlete.
Robert enjoys working with patients of all ages and assisting them in continuing to pursue meaningful activities. He uses an evidence-based approach to rehabilitation and tailors each patient’s treatment plan to their unique needs, with an emphasis on functional goals. He is a strong believer in patient education and exercise prescription, in addition to other tools like manual therapy and dry needling to promote healing.
Outside the clinic Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and their 2 dogs. He leads an active lifestyle, which includes playing sports and spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, and camping.
